New member Username: Indyboy2Post Number: 1 Registered: Oct-05 | Hi,got a question fot you guys.I have a creative audgiy2 zs sound card.I have a logictech z 5300 speaker system and i wanted to add more bass to the system so i bought a mtx powered subwoofer 12inch 100watt rms.Now i hooked it up by installing a 1/8 inch y-adapter link http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103422&cp=&kw=adapter+y&p arentPage=search, off the sound card plugged in the wire from my logictech system in one port then using a 1/8 inch adapter that has a 1/8 inch plug in one end then has 2rca outputs on the other end Link http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103870&cp=&pg=2&kw=adapte r+y&parentPage=search i ran it to the input of the powered sub sounds great my questions are what are the line level voltages on the output ports on this card i have found websites saying anywhere between one and two votls all the way up to ten.I just dont want to be sending to high of a line level voltage to my amp?.And my second question is can you overload a line level output on a sound card by hooking up more than one device? thanks for the input |
