Im in the market for a laptop and prefer an ultralite (such as sonly vaio T-series or panasonic e-lite). however, one of my intended uses for a computer is to create DVD's from numerous DV-tape home movies i have. reading the stories in some of the video capture message board about video capture frustrations by hardware and software was scary. the MAC notebooks are supposedly plug-and-play on this front and include DVI out for playing. are there any PC notebooks out there that are well equipped for video capture (fire-wire, adequate drive speed & memory, capture card & software, etc) that are also highly portable?
