Out of the blue (i don't recall doing any updating) I now have surround sound type echo on all audio out of my speakers! If I go to control panel, sound devices and click on the volume/mixer board screen and then on to properties under the recording setting there is a box with four choices . . . 1) Surround 2) Stadium 3) Pub 4) Hall One of these HAD to be checked in order to have a darkened OK to exit ! If none are checked the OK box goes light grey and there is no bypass or default setting of no surround ! I didn't initiate this but how do I get rid of it ? All audio is affected windows sounds mp3 musics any audio out of the speakers now has the echo/reverb effect. As additional Info I am using Sony Sound Forge but I haved checked there and do not see anything that would induce this. I'm not so much worried as to how it got there I just want to remove the effects any thoughts ? |

Dosent matter if its ethernet, scsi, ide, anything hardware most of the time had some sort of driver. Update it and see if that fixes the problem. |
