hello everyone, i really need some help, i currently have three AUDIOBAHN AWT-12X and i dont know what to do next. i need to know how reliable these subwoofers are and if they will hit hard. i also need to know what kind of box i should put them in! please help! they are 2000watts rms and 4000 watts peak each so that is 12000 watts peak alltogether! i need answers please!
ps. i almost forgot i need to know what amp to power them to get the most out of them!
well i wont state any opinions about them if u have already purchesed them, but dont feed them 2000 rms for sure, i would give them two hifonics bx1500d at the most, but thats just me, i havent heard this particular class of audiobahn but ive heard pretty much all the others and they arent very realiable, id say about %40 of the people i know with them are very disapointed and about another %30 dont know what good sound is but for amps just go 2 hifonics bx1500d AT THE MOST.

yeah 3000 w rms should be enough to push those cuz they r only like 1000rms each even though they state 2000rms. they rate their equipment much higher than it really is.(i know this cuz i have a bahn amp(a1500hcq) it says 2000rms at 1 ohm but it only puts out 1200rms, which is okay cuz i gota brahma and thats what it needs about.) may need to check into a new HO alternator if your geting 3000rms though.
the reason u dont get that much power is becasue with audiobahn u ned 2 purchase alot of things 2 get them at ful power such as caps at least 5 farad for the amp and a new battery a reali good alternator a good hu and more things so i advise u STAY AWAY FROM AUDIOBAHN UNLESS U ARE WILLIN 2 SPEND A THOUSAND OF DOLLARS JUZ TO GET THERE SMALLEST AMPS AT CLOSE 2 FUL POWER
in my opinion caps do nothing, dont really need a battery unless u play your music with the car off, a high output alternator is always good to have in my opinion

if u play the muzik with the car on i thought the energy still came from the battery. Becasue if it didnt where would it come from. And i have another question the only thing that an alternator does is keep the energy folwing throughout the car right?
don't let these guys bs you brad. If you go out and get a pyramid xxx4000.1 anp and hook it up to those subs all ran in parallel and throw them out of a plane they'll het really really hard.
sean,those subs are great, you'll love their sq and spl, #1definate ported, #2i'm pretty sure thattheir dual 2 ohm subs, so you could run a mono channel at 1.33 ohms, find a huge amp or two amps that are strappable, they will put up big #s if you feed'em enough power. people joke about audiobahn because they make alot of crappy low end products, but they still make top of the line as well. i don't hear people sayin ford sucks because escorts are crap, thats right...they also make cobra mustangs, maybe not the best analogy but you get the point.
