I know this question is kinda redundent since Robert Zeff designed both amps, but.. I have the arc audio 5150, and have been looking to maybe have more power. the prices on the Zapcos on ebay look pretty good !! I figured I could do two zapco 750.2 reference series. One bridged for the subs and one for the front seperates ? Would it be worth the switch ? Would the zapcos be "better" then the arc audio ? thanks
Zapcos are built to a tad tighter tolerances, they boast the best ratings in the industry. So yes, I'd say they're slightly better, but that's my opinion. I'd say worth it, I doubt you'll notice a SQ difference between the amps (both are extremely well built and problems would be well below audible range), but you'll see the benefit of more power.
