I know this is off topic, but I'm really getting tired of my Evanescence CD and like female rock vocalists, there aren't a lot around. Can any audiophiles recommend similar bands that have good or better music than Evanescence, same genre, rock, alternative, metal, etc?
Look into Lacuna Coil. AWESOME vocals, Cristina is plain out amazing, my favorite female rock vocalist. Nightwish and Ayreon: The human equation are great, it's opera/metal and works well together, amazing lyricists. Also look into the Gathering, L7 (not the subwoofer), and Lullacry.
