Remember that doubling the power only nets a 3 db increase, so 200W won't make a huge difference. You could also do ported and get it to full excursion with 800W RMS. Mechanical power handling is dependant on the enclosure, 1000W RMS is a thermal rating and the ID Max can work very well with less power than 1000W, even 400-500W RMS would work well, it's just how much you want out of it and what enclosure you're planning. |

Anonymous | Sounddomin got back to me about the price match, but they claim they can't find the produce on the website, damn. I'm going to try again with a differernt name and different email addy. Add to that, I had just asked them to match the price from website I posted above, and they did. Maybe that's why they are not match this one. Will see what happen. |
