Unfortunately I can't keep them both in there because I need one of the seats in the back. I want to get one new sub in (probably) a sealed box that will compare to the 2 I have in there now. Will a 13w6v2 even come close if I put 500RMS to it? If not what about a 13w7? I'm open to suggestions on some other brands too but all I have really ever used are JL's so I don't know what I would get. Thanks a lot. |

A 13W7 needs a 1000/1 amp, but would outdo the 15W1 combo in a heartbeat. 15" RE X.X.X. would be another option and hits harder than the 13W7 and is cheaper, SQ and build quality is just as good (I like it better as well as other people). The 12" X.X.X. or 13W6v2 would be about the same as the two or a little better. I can't remember exactly because W1s were discontinued. The X.X.X. needs more power than 500W RMS sealed, but you can get a different amp and save money. The sound quality of all these subs are better than the W1s. |
