Anonymous | I recently bought a 91 ford taurus and i took the factory tape player out, cliped the harness's off, then noticed there were more wires coming out of the car than the cd player(cd is brand new from store). We tried a few hook ups, the speakers are easy, but the power is whats messed up, the CD light will come on, it will take a cd and eject, but wont play , and the rest of the stereo wont turn on or show any life. the 4 wires i have left in the car say, (orng/blk,blu/grn = illumination) (yel/blk = fuse box) (yel/grn = fuse box + ant pwr) and the wires i have left on my CD player harness are ( yel = constant 12v) (red = 12v) (blu = remote) Any ideas? |
