I don't know too much about subs or anything. I just bought 2 12" kicker comp subs and a kx150 amp to start off. Anyways, my subs are putting out voice. I didn't think subs were supposed to do this. Is this normal or should I go back to the place that installed them and get it looked at?

I am not really sure on kicker, but does the amp have a built in crossover? If it does switch it to lowpass and set it at about 80 hz. This should stop the voice.

Kicker is great for pumpin low bass. But i think your problem is the amp. Like you said you dont know a whole lot about subs and stuff, so it sounds to me that if there is a built in crossover in your Amp then maybe you just hit the switch to Highpass. So just flip the switch to low and crank the gain! and kick tha crap outta everyone else!
