Why is amp getting hot

Howell Davis Bronze Member Username: Tripperdiv Post Number: 16 Registered: Jul-04	Posted on Sunday, August 22, 2004 - 14:44 GMT i have 2 12" bostwick dragr subs and an 1100.1 bostwick amp going to each sub-both are wire to 1 ohm at the amps and 1 of the amps is hot while the other is cool to the touch,they both have their own power and ground wires they are not hooked together.any guess why this is happening and will this burn up the amp thats getting hot,.thanks
