I have a Sony CDX-4000X HU. Im trying to hook in a new 444 watt sony ampbut there is one thing that i cant figure out, were to connect the Remote wire. i tried the amp/antenna remote wires and that didn't work. If it makes a difference the amp will be powering two 12" Kenwood tornados and is all in a 1991 sundance. If anyone can help please do.
wire the amp as follows: +12 directly to battery, with fuse 18" from battery. ground the amp within 24" of the amplifier itself. run signal lines (RCA) then connect the remote line from the amp to the remote trigger of the head unit (not power antenna on a Sony) make sure impedance is no lower on the amp than 2 Ohms.
