I yesterday received a custom made sealed sub box for my Sport Trac. It is for a 10" sub and fits a sub that has a mounting depth of anything less than 6". A number of the higher end subs like JL Audio and Alpine will not fit in there due to the mounting depth.
I am now looking at the Eclipse 8102. I cannot find information anywhere on the mounting depth or how it would sound in a 0.64 cu/ft box.
Eclipse Aluminums have very large motors, the Eclipse sub won't work. Even if it would squeeze in there, remember that you usually need at least 1" clearance from the back of the sub and the wall of the box. You'd need a 10" sub with a 5" mounting depth, pretty much limiting you on the higher end side of subs out there since most have more depth than that.
