Saturday, August 07, 2004 - 01:28 GMT I have a sub that has dual 4 ohm voice coils. I want to wire it to a 2 channel amp, that bridges into 4 ohms. How do I do it, I'm kinda new to this stuff.

Saturday, August 07, 2004 - 02:02 GMT Well, is the amp stable at 1 ohm? If not, then you can't bridge it and get the 2 ohm load you would need for that sub. There is a good chance the amp can put out a good enough load at 4 ohms into each channel, and then wire each voice coil to one channel.
