I have a JBL BP1200.1 I have 2 Kappa Perfects running off of it right now... but I am not to satisfied with them, I would like alot better SQ and SPL, What do you guys think is the best sub within a 350 dollar range for both?

I am unsure of price range but I am a big fan of Cerwin-Vega, those guys thump hard and sound good

Try the Cerwin Vega Vmax subwoofers. Also look at Adire Audio subs. They have good stuff. Maybe you should get 1 12" Adire Brahma and power them with your JBL BP1200.1 amp. That would sound pretty good. Maybe put it in a ported box tuned to about 29 hz.

the VMAXs are a great sub, your amp might be a little big as they only need 300W a piece, but you could just tone that down a bit. check out this site http://www.acaraudio.com/default.php?manufacturers_id=52 on sale for 109$ a piece, thats a great deal. good luck

people say that alpine r' suck but i have to disagree alpine r's pound pretty dang well. alpine speakers and subs are known for quality sound maybe not spl but sound quality. my bro has one 12 type r in his car and it pounds pretty hard.

Go with an one IDMAX. It will run at around $325-350.

What 2 JL subs would bump the best for about 400 dollars? W3s/ or W0s

W3's sound better and are a lot louder. Go with a pair of 12" W3's.

You'll still be overpowering them. You'll need to find two subs that can handle 600 watts RMS each. Adire Audio Shivas can thermally handle 650 watts each, even though they don't need that much.

Also, a 15" Brahma or 15" X.X.X would run very well off a 1200.1, but goes over the 400 buck range. The 15" Brahma can be had for $440, not sure about the X.X.X. Awesome subs, slot ported either can hit 150 db in the right car. A lot more SPL than the Perfects, with great SQ.
