I have an alpine amp and was reading the specs on the site and came across tis EIAJ(listed below), what does that mean?
MAX Power (at 14.4V,EIAJ)
Bridged 4 ohms : 400W x 1
Per channel into 4 ohms : 140W x 2

electronics industry association
they put forth the procedures for how the specs are measured.
It's a less accurate means of measuring specs compared to FCC specs.
