New member Username: JessetuckerPost Number: 1 Registered: Mar-20 | Hey guys, i’m going to look at amps at subs sometime this week, not sure exactly what i want, figured some more knowledgeable members here would be able to advise me in the right direction. Basically i want either 2 12’s or 2 15’s I have quite a bit of room but don’t want a massive box, its a f150 supercrew and i plan on folding up the 60 split seat. So maybe around 40 inches wide at the most, and 20 length Or so, and height shouldnt be a problem really. I have installed a 320 mechman alternator, big 3 1/0 gauge wires, xs d4800 battery. My electrical should be able to handle a decent amount. I was looking at maybe 2 sundown xv2 15’s it says 1500rms a piece but i know They handle more. So i would maybe get the 4k amp. But its pretty pricey for all that but i spent alot to do electrical so i want to do it justice. But at the same time I don’t want to destroy my truck with bass so i’m really not sure how much it takes to start messing up windows etc. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks in advance! |
