Alpine 15" type - R

I don't have any knowledge of this sub. I do know that back in the day, Alpine was the sh*t! Right now I have 2 12" JL Audio in the trunk. Those are my babies! They sound supreme! Right now I have the ability to pick up 2 15" Alpine R's in Box for $250. Just wanted to hear from you people that know this sub. And to know if this is a good deal or should I pass on it?

Those type R's are a decent subs for the money. I'd give 250 for them.I think you'd be more impressed with those than the JLs
