Eclipse 55060 rear rca fade doesnt work

Hello,

I am trying to install my old 55060 eclipse head unit. I remember back in the day the rear fade doesn't work and i wasn't able to fade to the rear with that deck. I was running jl audio e4300 amp. Is there anyhow or way that i can repair it?
