I just swapped out my old Rockford amp 400, with a Pioneer GM-A6704 4 channel amp. Should have been a pretty simple swap. Have all my speakers wired into amp wired correctly, regrounded both amps to bare metal, connected my remote wire which is Y off to both amps, have 4awg amp wire ran to a T and 8" evenly to both amps, my sub amp is working great. It's my new Pioneer amp not working, IT me on force 3 seconds and shut down, I checked both fuses both operating ok. I have voltage up to amp and even checked fuse size with test light hv power at both test points when plugged in. I do not have the power light but hv voltage to fuses didn't make sense to me. I am afraid to open amp being its brand new and might void warrant. Might have that marking stuff on it somewhere. My sub works great, don't k ow what happened and why amp shut down. HV a Kenwood 9990hd, 2-front 6x9 PIoneer 5 ways, in back door Rockford Fosgate 6 1/2" T16's, 3-3 1/2" rounds in my factory dash spots. System Been doing great for last 3 years. Speaker amp lost a. Handel that's why I replaced it. Such a simple swap but I can see this is going to be a pain. Hate to hv to take to a stereo house they usually just get into my pocket. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks again

sounds like it is going into protect, make sure nothing is shorting it out and that the gain is set properly.
