Posted on I just had a new amp installed. (Alpine ktp-445u with 45rms x 4) and my sound system is worse than it was before.
It starts to distort when my volume is over 10 (Distortion previously didn't occur until 40 or 50) and the blinker and car chime are obnoxiously loud.
Would new speakers get rid of this distortion? If so what how many watt speakers.
