I have a hertz amp that is giving me a nightmare.
From the moment I connected it all up it starts up with dim red light in safe mode.when initiating the head unit it triggers on to solid red.
Okay?
checked all my connections seem fine
12 v at terminals
no speakers shorting out
I left it over night and completely disconnected the amp and put it on the office desk
this morning connected the amp on PWR NEG and REM the amp works switches to green..OK
one by one add the speakers get a red light after I add in the second front speaker..ok found a loose cable
now again stuck in protection mode safe mode again
does the amp have to sit forever for it to reset itself?
cant get the amp to behave properly again even with nothing connected to it. Are these amps known to be tempermental? |
