If its anything like there older model make sure it broken in properly and it will perform great. As for the amp Im not up to date on newer models but I wouldnt recommend the one you have chosen. I think I used an amp made by crescendo and it was an excellent combo. I would absolutely make or have someone make a custom box specifically for that sub.
