Once again the serial number on the e36 business cd radio is : BP027340144319 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

New member Username: Geezerm3VIRGINIA BEACH, VA United States Post Number: 4 Registered: Mar-14 | Hi to everyone, I was able to use the code opelop provided using the following formula.Basically the four digit code is a european code,so the radio had to be converted from a 5 digit usa code to the 4 digit euro code. I should go back and find out who the person is that posted this information because it was a life saver. Here is his/her post: Here's the deal: You were given a European code, which consists of 4 digits. If the radio is asking for 5 digits, it means that you are in US mode instead of Euro. Once in euro mode, you will be able to enter 4 digits, one at a time. Pressing the same button several times will increment the digit all the way up to 9. Here's how: 1. Get the radio to the point where it has the dashes and is calling for the code. 2. Hold the "m" button for approximately 10 seconds until the radio's serial # comes up. 3. Once you have the serial # on the display press the "+" button 6 or 7 times until AREA comes up. 4. Press the 1 digit repeatedly until AREA EUROPE shows. 5. Press the triangle/arrow looking button directly to the right of the "m" button to accept your selection of europe. 6. Turn the radio, car off. 7. Repeat step 1 8. Enter your 4 digit radio code as described above. 9. Once the coded is accepted, turn off the radio. 10. Turn the radio on 11. Repeat steps 2 thru 6, but this time select USA area. That is essentially it. Reply, Reply All or Forward | More |
