Hey hows it going? New to this and trying to build something here. Halfway into putting my parts together i realized I was going a bit overboard as usual. Im installing this in a 2006 subaru wrx wagon which to my knowledge pushes 75 amperage out of the stock alternator. Hoping to keep the alternator stock for the moment. Will I have problems? How do you calculate my systems draw on amps? Where would you cut back if necessary? Also was planning on running 0 guage wire... is that gonna help or hurt my situation? Are my mids and highs gonna keep up? Looking for a balance of quality and fill your chest bass.

Stock alt won't cut it, something above 150A will.

Load changes according to use, if you have all vehicle services on and audio output at max all the time likely you will need more than 150A.

You will also need a proper battery and big 3, doing the big 3 wrong will probably kill the battery overtime, the 0 gauge is ok but let that be decent quality.

Also if you can fit a Q15" it will considerably increase your output on the same power.
