Its time for me to get back into the car audio game yall.
I got an 87 yota extra cab pickup, and i need to put something behind the seats. In the past, all my builds have been big ported enclosures. Unfortunately, Im pretty limited on space with this lil truck.
The maximum space i can squeeze out is 3.5-3.9 cubes (not including port space). I have no idea what my best route is, whether it be a pair of 8's, 10's, 12's, or a single 10, 12, or 15. and im torn on whether a sealed or ported enclosure would be my best route.
I learned everything i know about car audio on here, so i figured someone could give me a little directon on where to begin here.
Haha I'm pretty sure mounting depth rules out both of those. But damn that would be a wild ride. 3.9 cubes is accounting for MDF volume too, assuming its all 3/4". My mounting depth is only like 8" max. Unless I made the box less tall. That sacrifices cubes quick though when it's 50" wide. Or maybe I could make a trapezoidal box. My seat backs are at an angle.
