It's the same sad story I've read so many times - car sitting for too long, battery dies, radio needs a five digit code entered but owners manual is nowhere to be found. Dealer used the s/n to come up with a code but it doesn't work. So, the details: s/n 29981526 mfg: Alpine Code from dealer: 25342 Dealer also looked up codes using a Y or Z in place of the first # but still came up with same code. Is there a way to reset the code back to factory? thank you. |
