New member Username: RustylandBay Area, CA USA Post Number: 1 Registered: Jun-12 | I am looking at redoing my pickup and leaning towards JL Audio's JX Series Amps. the 1000 Mono, and the 360 x4 amps in perticular. I realize this is JL's new intry line. Are they any good? Or should I pony up for something nicer?? I was looking at those, or Hifonics Zeus 2000 watt mono, and 2000 watt 4 channel. I am going to be pushing one 12" L7, and for 6.5" MB quartz seperates in a 4 door F-350. |

(a 1500W amp at 1 ohm). On the 4 channel amp you can go for the JX if you want to pay that much or this which is cheap and will sound nice as the JX: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_44472_MB-Quart-ONX2.100.html If you want a great SQ amp go for something really nice like Arc Audio, Sinfoni, Genesis, Tru, Brax, Audison.. but probably for the comps you have will not be worth it. |

JL makes quality products. I'm sure even their entry level amps will do what you need if they offer the features you require. |

New member Username: 1loudjettaslcPost Number: 3 Registered: Oct-13 | I just installed the 500 watt mono block jx in my last installation, and it jammed two mid level no-name subs in a duel slot port box... Anything made by jl is quality equipment... Except for that tmj line they tried to launch a few years ago... And btw, I have one jl 12w7ae (3 ohm) powered by an old school ppi pro art 100 bridged... My estimates are about 600 w to the sub... I have too much bass!!! |
