BMW Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code
Hi, I have just purchased an 07 Audi A4. I tried to update the Audi Navigation System Plus RNS-E to the latest 2011 version. However on doing so It asked me for the code which was not provided with the car. Audi want to charge me £25 and I have to go to my nearest dealer! Can anyone provide a code for this? I have already tried the code scribbled on the radio (3180) and it didn't work.
Confusingly, the dealer gave the original owner a card implying that the serial number was VDCD2042000884 and a code of 1588...but that doesn't match what is on the radio and that code doesn't work either! Help!
