Monday, April 09, 2012 - 04:38 GMT Im wiling to bet the JL 1000/1 draws more power than the aq. The aq is a very efficient amp. Theres a guy here Troy whos ran the wardens but i dont see him around much anymore. what are you trying to do with the woofers? what kind of setup are you looking at doing?

Thursday, April 12, 2012 - 10:41 GMT I run the Audioque HDC4's. What do you mean they suck up too much power? Any sub listed in here will crap on JL when it comes to getting loud...

Monday, April 16, 2012 - 13:54 GMT I'm still a fan of Fi Car Audio, mainly due to the engineering, and each sub being hand built to order for each customer, allowing customization of each sub to fit the needs of the application.

Sunday, April 29, 2012 - 00:39 GMT Fi X? Youd be surprized at how much can be done with little lower. You could equal it out in cone area IE. 4 15's and 1000w can get loud in the right hands. If you havnt noticed, Fi has a 3000w rms rated series, 2000, 1500, 1000... For spl... An spl oriented sub with a strong motor thay has good cooling and can take 3k daily, does ok on music, and can take 10k burps. A pro box. If you have lots of cone area and can split the power than it doesnt matter what subs are used.

Sunday, April 29, 2012 - 13:17 GMT I don't know what you saw, cadillac, but you apparently have little real world first-hand experience with Fi. I use a single Q series sub in my car, and it's more than loud enough, getting 1200+ watts RMS from an Orion 2250SX bridged @ 14.4VDC, matched to a DynAudio System 360 3-way front stage driven with another 2250SX @ 4 ohms stereo (250W x 2ch) The system is set up for SQ, but more than capable of hitting well over the 140dB mark, which is the threshold for pain in human hearing.

Wednesday, May 02, 2012 - 02:47 GMT Cadillac don't listen to these guys they don't know what they are talking about. Your probably one of those guys that like to bump through residential neighborhoods and at red lights. If so, please just stick to JL.
