Monday, March 12, 2012 - 12:55 GMT i have 4.3 cuft including sub and port (if i use 3/4") looking to run 1200wrms any susgestions on port tuning, normaly i tune around 37hz this is for a daily driver

Tuesday, March 13, 2012 - 02:49 GMT done some sums 2.9 cuft box 1.0 cuft port 0.3 cuft sub 1" mdf port 12"x12"x12" tune to 29hz sound about right

External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 35 3/4 x 16 1/2 Left & Right Sides = 18 1/4 x 15 Top & Bottom = 35 3/4 x 18 1/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 14 1/4 x 15 Extension = 8 1/4 x 15

Tuesday, March 13, 2012 - 23:21 GMT So port length is 15x4x26"long Ill run it throught winisd and see how close it is to what i can fit I can go out a bit more on box but i still want a box I work your out to be close to 5.6cuft no port/sub So my 4.3 is a bit shy Any recomendations on port size for my odd shaped box Unless i run port accross front and out front i cant go bigher then 14" high and 14" long width is no ploblem It would like going in 4" and accross 20" and back again 8" and 15" high with the opening at front An s shaped port Ill draw it up when i finish work and show you

Wednesday, March 14, 2012 - 11:37 GMT WinISD can do square ports but slot ports require end correction calculations in most cases. The box I left you has 4 cubic feet of internal volume not 5.6. Does that box you are planning on need to be that shape?
