I purchased a used 2001 ML430. I called the dealer to get the radio security code and they gave me code of 11332. I entered the code and was not able to access the radio. I had my hubby pull the radio out to get the model number and serial number to the radio, is there any way that I can get the radio security code for this radio? Radio model number RA4110 and serial number AL411010246931, Thanks

vin number is 4jgab72ex1a236954, local Mercedes Benz dealer when I called the first time they gave me security code of 11332. I entered the code and pressed ok and it did not accept code. so I entered it another two more times and then went into wait mode. Since i drive an hour to work, screen did go back to security code screen. Now here is where I get fustrated, my hubby pulled the radio and we wrote the serial number, I called the dealer again to ask if they could give me security code and they looked up radios serial number, and gave me code 23113. So code number is stil similar to the first one but in diffrent sequence order. Today I drove to work and entered the second code of 23113 and it did not accept the code, entered it another 2 more times and now I have the wait screen again so my drive home of an hour should help reset back to the security code screen, but the drive will be very quiet. Is there another code or am I doing something wrong when I enter the code into the radio?

Vin number is correct in previous thread and now I am scrating my head as in the serial number you provided has a letter Y in it and in the one I provided to you that was the one my hubby gave me and wrote AL41101024693, I wonder if the 1 between the two 0 could have been a Y....... Could you check serial number again and instead of AL41101024693 can you check AL4110Y024693? This radio issue is starting to be an issue that I thought would have a quick easy fix but seems not to be..... I really don't want to change the radio in the car as it is a Navigation, radio, cd, tape player and has the CD changer as well.
