2000 Beetle radio code

I need the security code for the radio. My VIN #3VWDD21DD21C82M419981. The #radio on the radio is VWZ9Z7Y5151439. The dealer says I need the vin from the original car. Can't get it. Can you help? Thanks much in advance!
