I did some research and decided to go with all alpine products. I just wanted to know if you guys can help me out by telling me if what I wanna get makes sense. Subwoofer: Alpine type R 12" 4 ohms http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/swr-1243d/ Door speakers: Front: Alpine Type R 6-1/2" component 2-way http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/spr-60c/ Rear: Alpine Type R 6-1/2" coaxial 2-way http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/spr-60/ Amps: For speakers: PDX-F4 4/3/2 Power Density Digital Amplifier http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/pdx-f4 For the sub: PDX-M6 Mono Power Density Digital Amplifier http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/pdx-m6/ I basically just want to hear your opinions on this set up, if it even makes sense, or even work. I drive a 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 BTW. Any adive/help will be greatly appreciated. |

There are a lot of different unknown variables for me to determine if those Alpine 6.5" Speakers will even fit in your Mazdaspeed3. It's good to know that it is a 2011, but to provide a clear answer on what you'll need, if you could post the following information, that would be helpfull: 1: Is your Mazda a Hatchback or Sedan? 2: Do you have a Boss System? 3: Does your Mazda come stock with 4 or 6 Speakers? Other than that, another thing I wanted to address is that Alpine is great and all, but you could save a lot of money if you were to choose another Brand of Amplifier other than Alpine. There are other Amplifiers that can produce the Watts RMS that you need at a lower price tag. I could provide a few examples, but if your dead set on Alpine, I won't bother to post about it. |

You can fit a 6.5" Speaker in it's place but, you may need to purchase an adapter bracket to make them fit. Here is an example of what you may need to fit your 6.5" Alpine Speakers: Scosche SA68: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4966_Scosche-SA68.html |
