New member Username: Speedster47New Jersey United States Post Number: 1 Registered: Dec-11 | So I have a 1997 HONDA accord and I have a touch screen head unit which is Pioneer-very similar to this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
I also have 6x9 rear speakers which are pioneers as well. Also 2 12'' MTX subs... and I was wondering what front speakers i should buy? I have 2 types of speakers in mind, but I am not sure if any of these are or if I need any other connections to the subs or not? http://www.walmart.com/ip/17037933?searc http://www.google.com/products/catalog?h |

Not clear what you mean with this: "I am not sure if any of these are or if I need any other connections to the subs or not? " |

Gold Member Username: Joe1234Post Number: 1097 Registered: May-09 | Ok, if you are going to use any of the speakers suggested above just bear in mind that head units can put out only about 14-16W of fair quality power per channel, if you are using say 80-120W per channel speakers then YES you use an amplifier to provide that power level and aditionally amplifiers provide a high quality signal that cannot be compared to that of head units. Anyways the head unit could power the speakers for a while until you get the amplifier. |

What is the best amp to power them under $300? I was considering audioque Q4-120 and JL JX360/4. Anything else/better to consider? |
