HONDA do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc).
The majority of HONDA codes are NOT readily available as access is required to the original factory database which is not commercially available to buy
HONDA radios are made by the following manufacturers
The only Honda radio codes that are available to be calculated for free from anywhere on the Internet will be radios made by
BLAUPUNKT. These will have a Serial Number beginning with BP and another number beginning with 7 *** *** *** found on a label on the radio casing
Plus older radios made by
PHILIPS Model 22 DC681/02
Early ALPINE (Model numbers beginning CM+ + + + )
UNFORTUNATELY ... NO OTHERS !
=================================================
For EVERY other HONDA radio made by one of the other manufacturers then visit the website below
https://radio-navicode.honda.com
If you can supply all the correct details, then they will be able to supply your code for free.
Otherwise you will have to try your HONDA Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) =================================================

I starting to think I will have to brake this radio into peaces and buy a new one.

I have been looking all over the internet for a unlock code for a Honda civic 2005 VP stock radio but unfortunately there are specific radios that you wont be able to get the code anywhere rather than going to the dealer and pay for the code which in my case the dealer is asking 100 dollars which I refuse to pay for a sock radio that doesn't even have mp3.

Hi foiks, I'm new to this forum, hoping you can help. I have an older VW Golf (1996). Just took my aftermarket stereo out and wanted to place my original radio back in it's place as i will be getting rid of the car shortly (want to be able to listen to the radio for the next few weeks till it's sold). Unfortunately since i bought the car used in 1999 i don't have the original radio codes and so i don't know how to get rid of the SAFE message on my unit. Not sure what info you need but here is what i have from my Radio Manual VWZ9Z7S Serial No>3179528 If you need more info let me know, hoping you can help me get my hands on the code.

You have to read the small print.
Online decoders like the first link will not normally refund.
The second email contact is usually more helpful and fair . If they are able to obtain a code for your radio then it will normally be guaranteed to work or refund offered.
However the chances of the original code working are usually fairly high because if it has been recoded then the Decoding Company normally leave a label on the casing.
So the choice is yours.
If you cannot obtain this code for free from the BMW Dealer then you really have no option but to pay for a code if you require a working radio.
