Well first if you fail to correctly connect polarity, the speakers will blow, secondly those systems are not prepared to filter out noise on the power lines of the car so you may get engine noise. Silver Member Username: Joe1234Post Number: 563 Registered: May-09 | Dave, in cars the engine generate some small transient voltage changes all the time due to it's inner workings audio equipment not designed to deal with that will make them audible which can be very annoying, regarding the stereo I advised you don't need to buy amplifiers or other stuff, you can just wire to the stock speakers already in your car and you are all done. If you want a little better you can get this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17277_Kenwood-KFC-1652S.html These stuff will sound 10 times better than computer speakers, but you may give a shot at your idea and if it does not work well then you could try this suggestions. |
