I was wiring some new speakers in to my truck (1986 ford ranger super) and i had the head unit on (road master vcrd300m) so i could see which wire was the power and which one was the ground. well i accidentally dropped a wire and it hit the ground and now there is no sound coming out of the head unit except threw the sub woofers . dose any one have an idea what is wrong or did i blow my head unit. this is my head unit |
Silver Member Username: Joe1234Post Number: 510 Registered: May-09 | The internal amplifier that powers your speakers is most likely done but you have RCA pre-outs so with a cheap amp you can recover sound. After a while it picks up signal and FM comes back to life.what would that be? radio number is A 163 820 04 86. Model RA4910. Funny thing is that I installed a friends ML 320 year 2002 unit and it goes into mute and does not even allow you to enter the 5 digit code. why? |
