New member Username: Adrian33Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-11 | hey yall. ive got an alpine cd player from a friend of mine. bought it off of him. it used to work fine right b4 i put in my car. now it WILL play radio, but not cds. itll read them just fine, but no sound comes out. but itll still play the radio jst fine. any thoughts guys?? im hookn it up to a nissan 240 if that makes any difference. heres a pic of one that looks just like mine, only mine dnt play dvds. |

Gold Member Username: KaerfplSpencerport, NY USA Post Number: 1370 Registered: Jun-06 | Just out of curiousity, does your Nissan 240 have the Bose Sound System in it or no? If it does, that itself could be causing a problem. If not, then the only thing I can really think of is that either the Deck cannot read the format of the CD you are using, or the lazer inside the Deck may be broken. Do you know if it was able to play CD's when it was with your friend? |
