Keycode needed for Ford 4500 RDS Cd player... please!!!!!
Have just made a separate general post but looks like your the expert - please help!! My wifes car has just been returned from the garage needing a keycode. I have tried the code from the Owners Guide (being 1706) but that doesn't work. Became apparent that the guide must have been from another car as this showed the serial no as M526274. Having checked the unit the correct serial number is M253267. Have paid for a key code online - and getting the code 7922 but that doesnt work either --- arghhhhhhhh!! Can anyone please help - what is the correct number?? Cheers, Steve
Thanks Reg Rooster for the code, unfortunately I couldn't try it, as the (second hand) radio I'd got from the breakers was broken (the LCD display didn't work - so I couldn't see the code as I was inputting it).

My 80 year old mother has my father's 2000 Commodore and the radio has lost its code. The radio has a "3" on it and entering "1111" gets it going for about 5 minutes. The manual only mentions "2" .

Press [1] followed by the tuning <> buttons to rotate the first digit Press [1] followed by the tuning <> buttons to rotate the second digit Press [1] followed by the tuning <> buttons to rotate the third digit Press [1] followed by the tuning <> buttons to rotate the fourth digit
Finally if the correct code is shown on screen press the [1] button to save the code.
