Radio code

hi there i got radio code for my 2003 corsa but it wouldnt accept it i tried again and i,m sure i did it correctly, opel dealer told me it was correct code but it might have been decoded before, does anyone know what next step is and where in dublin can i get it sorted and how much. thanks

If you post the radio make+model and all the letters+numbers on any labels ,barcodes and stamped in the metal then we may be able to double check your code.

If not then the radio will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service (such as your local Car Radio/Audio Store ) where they will connect a laptop to read the code inside the memory chip (EEPROM)

hi its cdr 2005 vdo serial is GM020521618444 sorry i dont have any more info as i dont have tools to take radio cover off, thanks for your help

Sorry....It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database ...and this is not commercially available to buy as software

Happy days i got it working,thanks for your help reg rooster, when opel dealer took radio out they took the serial from the side and the code they gave me wouldnt go in, i decided to make a pair of u shapes from a metal coat hanger and i took radio out myself and see could i get more info then i saw a 4 digit number written in 2 areas, as radio was on 3 safe i waited about 2 hours to enter code and then happy days its workin, thanks for your help

I hope it can help someone, I have a Vauxhall Frontera car radio with the 400 I have the battery replaced and since I lost the code-dan gone. I hope this can help someone
