Wednesday, August 31, 2011 - 02:18 GMT Kicker DX1000.1: 4 Ohms : 550 Watts RMS 2 Ohms : 1000 Watts RMS 1 Ohm : Not Stable Wire Gauge : 4 Gauge SNR : 95 db High-Pass Crossover : N/A Low-Pass Crossover : 50-200 Hz Subsonic Filter : 10-30 Hz Bass Boost : 0-12 db Fuse Rating : 100A CEA-2006 Compliant : Yes Kicker ZX1000.1: 4 Ohms : 500 Watts RMS 2 Ohms : 1000 Watts RMS 1 Ohm : Not Stable Wire Gauge : 4 Gauge SNR : 95 db High-Pass Crossover : N/A Low-Pass Crossover : 50-200 Hz Subsonic Filter : 10-30 Hz Bass Boost : 0-18 db Fuse Rating : 100A CEA-2006 Compliant : Yes Compairing Specs shows that the DX puts out 50 Watts RMS more at 4 Ohms, but the ZX Bass Boost can go from 0-18 db. If your wiring the L7 into a 2 Ohm Load, either amplifier would do the job supplying 1000+ Watts RMS.
