Anonymous | I have a small problem with the faceplate of this unit. I took apart the faceplate to clean the dust on the inside of the plastic cover and a small metal piece fell out of the faceplate. I have no idea where to place it in the unit. The unit still works without this metal piece but I have no idea where to put it back. I have attached a picture to show you all what I'm talking about http://www.pitt.edu/~pec22/hu.jpg |

richard johnson Unregistered guest | If it works don't worry about it. I have a whole box full of "spare parts", that is just our way of keeping the chinese employed. |
Diablo Unregistered guest | I have the same unit, DEH-P860mp. I noticed some dust inside of the unit too, I would just take a look under a really good lighting condition and see where the piece fits, tell me if you find out because I'm a perfectionist too. The unit is so great, I switched my cd8454 by eclipse for the pioneer. Good luck. I would try buying the unit taking it apart carefully and returning it the next day to see what went where. If that's not an option try this locator to find the nearest authorized service center for pioneer car units 2076_25076227%2C00.html,http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/asc/locator/0,,207 6_25076227,00.html |
