Friday, November 14, 2003 - 15:58 GMT It will start to sound 'bad' when you exceed or fall below the recommended enclosure volume by much. 2x2x2 = about 8 cubic feet. A 12" sub needs about one cubic foot. A 15" sub needs about 2.5 cubic feet. An 18" sub needs about 4 cubic feet. What you have is a storage locker, not a speaker cabinet.

Monday, November 17, 2003 - 22:03 GMT Each sub has it's own recommended box size and it can vary drastically. Example: Some need less than 2 cubic feet and some need more than 4. All depends on exactly which subs you have.

Friday, November 28, 2003 - 03:28 GMT u are stupid if u think you can just build a box any size and have it sound right, certain subs have certain airspace needs and limitation....read your owners manual stuff and you would know these kinds of things peace out
