Currently it is installed so no pictures. It's being uninstalled Friday and readied for shipping by Monday. Without further introduction, here's whats for sale. 12" Sound Splinter RL-s - $325 + shipping http://www.soundsplinter.com/rls12_subwoofer_information.html Single 3 ohm Great SQ sub, low-end monster, not the strongest on the "upper" frequencies of a sub, large sealed box or lowly tuned ported box. The sub is in perfect mechanical shape. The cone has three small dents/scuffs on it that do not effect the sound what so ever. I will point them on in pictures later. Orion 2500d - $350 + Shipping Solid amp. Does a true, if not slightly under rated 2500rms @ 1 ohm. Perfect for the RL-s as it does 1000-1200rms @ 3 ohms. Can't remember what it does at 2 or 4 ohms but a simple Google search will solve that for you. Tru Tech 2.200 - $400 Great SQ amp. Does true power. Perfect combo with the speakers listed below. Does 200rms x 2 @ 4 ohms. Hybrid Audio Technology Clarus C6 1/2 - $380 + Shipping http://www.hybrid-audio.com/clarus_two_way.htm Hands down, best speakers I've heard. I can't tell you how many compliments I've got about them in specific. Read the review of them on the link. Alpine 9886 HU - $250 + Shipping Every piece is in perfect shape. I built the box, bought a Kicker amp and a SS sub too. It was all matched perfectly. No worries cause like I said I'm kinda past the game anyway. Post Number: 3744 Registered: May-04 | If you do have speaker wire and its anything like the KNU or Monster wire thats "twisted" and in that clear tube together,nevermind! I friggin hate that kind of wire. It is hard to work with and I just dont get why some companies make that type of wire. I guess its twisted together to "cancel out noise and make your speakers sound better"? Please.....thats just a big marketing gimmick! Im good with good ol plain zip wire. That is as long as its 100% OFC and true to gauge!. I have some of that Monster Cable twisted wire for my sub and I hate it,its just a PITA to work with. You have to strip the outer clear jacket,then strip each wire also. And since its twisted together like that,it stays round and will not lay flat. Sorry / rant but I just hate that twisted wire. Such a friggin gimmick and waste of money IMO. Is there even any proof that that type of wire is "better" for your speakers? I highly doubt it. Like I said,give me some good true to gauge OFC zip wire and Im good! |
