You need to find out the maximum memory size and number of audio formats and file systems that the HU supports, I can tell you that Pioneer has superb format compatibility. Kenwood is another one to look at. Alpine (excellent as it is) for example has refused playing some very big files that Pioneer handled with ease. |

As joe durkham stated above, JVC is more of an entry level brand, however some of their higher end Decks ($500 plus range) are superb. As far as you price range goes, here are a few options you can look into: Pioneer DEH-P8300UB: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_31077_Pioneer-DEH-P8300UB.html Kenwood KDC-448U: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33460_Kenwood-KDC-448U.html Alpine CDA-105: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18875_Alpine-CDA-105.html Alpine CDE-122: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34355_Alpine-CDE-122.html Clarion CZ501: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_35579_Clarion-CZ501.html |
