New member Username: KickyaazzPost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-11 | hi..im looking in buying a HU..and i was wondering what do you think..which one is the best from this 2: http://www.meetgadget.com/gadget/23669/JVC+KD-R401/specs http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/archive/DEH-2200UB/index.html and i have 1 more question: i saw that the jvc has 4X19 W RMS with THD below 1% and RMS Power Bandwidth: 40HZ - 20000HZ and the pioneer has 4x22 w RMS with a tHD of 5%..and at 4x14 W RMS(all channles driven) has 1% THD and the pioneer has a RMS Power Bandwidth : 50hz to 15000hz this specs are from the manuals! i dont know..maybe the pioneers specs are more accurate .. SO which one should i choose.Thank You |

Because IMO, Pioneer is just simply better quality over JVC. However, if you could manage to spare a bit more money on buying a new Deck, I would suggest going for the Pioneer DEH-5200HD or Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X494: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22377_Pioneer-DEH-P5200HD.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22937_Kenwood-eXcelon-KDC-X494.html Between these 2 Decks, I would personally go with the Kenwood. Keep in mind these are simply Entry Level Decks. There are much better and quality Decks out in the world if you are willing to spend $250 plus. |

Besides audio is a totally subjective matter. "Best" is also very subjective matter, 3 things are very important to make a choice: Price range and features you seek, type of music you hear and if this will be your first system. |

Bronze Member Username: Joe1234Post Number: 53 Registered: May-09 | From those two you picked maybe Id go with the Pioneer (cleaner sound) but both are cheap offerings, Since you like bass I am sure you will be interested in subs overtime.so Id pick a HU with internal crossover to plan ahead, those are not much more expensive. |
