The MTX comparison uses the smallest of the JL W7 subs. What they don't tell you is that the MTX line of subs doesn't improve Xmax as the diameter of the driver increases whereas the JL does, and by a large amount. a 13W7 will destroy a 9512 in both SPL due to it's superior displacement, and in SQ due to being a much better sub. You pay for that difference though since the JL is considerably more expensive so it's a simple matter of getting what you pay for. Both are good subs, but side by side, the JL is the better performer. |

But I hear W7's are better. So i dont know, just lettin you know that MTX is still pretty good even though they might not be as good. |
