I may be wrong but i am seeing a 800W RMS AMP that will do (if wired right) 400W RMS to each channel, and if you bridge it you will get 800W. And the peak of each channel when running 400W x 2 will be 800W
peak is pretty much pointless. if the amp is rated for 200w x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo, then it'd be about 400w x 2 @ 2 ohms, and 800w x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged mono keep in mind it's only stable to 4 ohms mono though.

i have two 300 watt 8" subwoofers and a 1000 watt max amp can i hook them to the amp at the max power of the amp
