New member Username: Alex2342Post Number: 2 Registered: May-11 | i can choose any of these for free. this is gonna be my first car subwoofer and i want to choose the better 1. i've done a bit of research and looks like kicker 12'' cvr is $86 on amazon com and opti drive goes for well above 100. opti is 900watt rms kicker 400 watt rms loooks like opti has a bigger magnet, so is it better? i have no clue... i'm so noob... i've read that these opti drives are best in lanazar's series but i'm not sure.. that's why asking to help out |

Bronze Member Username: Dloco486Post Number: 26 Registered: Apr-11 | with that amp if your got a choice ild get the 2 ohm dvc Kicker CompVR 07CVR122. just type that in on amazon its right under the 1 your getting. i dont know if somebody is goin to buy it for u or if some 1 is giving it to u but your amp u got is only going to push 150 watts rms bridged at 4 ohms which is y u would need dual 2 ohm voice coil. u can wire it at 4 ohms. the duel 4 ohm voice coil will only do 2 ohms or 8 and if u wire it at 8 ure only lookin at about 50 watts maybe less. and if u bridge a 2 ohm load it will clip ure amp. that amp wouldnt work for that lanzer. it doesnt put out nowhere near the amount of power u need for it. a sub that would be better with that amp if u can get it though would be a diamond d1 at 2ohm dvc better than the kicker. but the kicker is goin to sound better with that amp than the lanzer. |
